Massachusetts Youth Soccer Tournament Action - Love To ComPete 2008

Love To ComPete 3v3 soccer tournaments will be taking a 2-year break and will return better than ever in 2012. Upon its return, the goal will once again be to provide a fun, enjoyable, sportsmanlike, and competitive 3v3 soccer tournament for the Greater Boston area. During the first 3 years of the tournament, we were able to do just that and will again in 2012.

All proceeds from the tournament will always go to the Peter French Memorial Foundation. For more information about Peter French or the Foundation, click the About Foundation link at the top or bottom of the page.

3v3 Soccer is the fastest growing form of soccer in the world. It is a fast-paced, high-scoring, exciting game which is great for players of all ages and abilities. It is an excellent developmental tool for both the individual (ball skills, decision-making, transitioning between offense and defense) and the team (combination play, movement off the ball, maintaining team shape and balance). Whether you are a youth player just starting to play, a club player getting ready for the upcoming club season, a high school player training for the fall season, or a player just looking to have some fun, Love To ComPete is the perfect way to end the summer.

"A wonderful day of soccer - Peter French would be proud!"

"We loved it! It was a great opportunity to play soccer without pressure. We had a great time, strengthened our friendship, and worked together for a common goal."

"It is an excellent tournament. I think it is a very good blend of competitiveness and sportsmanship with an edge towards competitveness. For competitive soccer players, I think this is an excellent primer for conditioning and ball skills to move into the fall season and pre-season practices."

"We had a blast! A great tribute to Peter!"
